# Text Fonts are unreadable

Symptoms of Graphical Asset Corruption

  • Font Display Issues: Fonts on the device's screen appear broken or unreadable.
  • Unusual Screen Behavior: The display shows irregular patterns or characters not aligning properly.

If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, it may indicate a corruption in the file containing graphical assets, located on the internal SD card. Follow the provided recovery procedure to resolve the issue.

# Recovery Procedure

  1. Disconnect the USB cable

    • Unplug the USB cable from your ElectraOne MIDI Controller.
  2. Press and hold the Left-Middle button [ SECTION 2 ]

    • Locate the left-middle button on your device and press and hold it down.
  3. Reconnect the USB cable while holding the button

    • Continue to hold the left-middle button and reconnect the USB cable to your device.
  4. Wait for the startup animation to complete

    • Keep holding the button until the startup animation on your ElectraOne MIDI Controller is fully completed. Do not release the button before this.
  5. Disconnect the USB cable again

    • Once the startup animation is complete, disconnect the USB cable again.
  6. Reconnect the USB cable

    • Plug the USB cable back into the device.
  7. Visit the Factory Reset page

  8. Press the 'Recover' button

    • On the factory reset page, press the 'Recover' button to initiate the recovery process.
  9. Wait for Recovery confirmation

    • Wait until you receive confirmation that the recovery process has been completed.
  10. Reconnect the USB cable

    • Reconnect the USB cable to your ElectraOne MIDI Controller.
